Toni Belin Ingram is a dedicated servant-leader, executive strategist, and community advocate with a lifelong commitment to empowering people, strengthening families, and building thriving communities.
As an ordained itinerant elder in the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church and Presiding Elder of the Augusta North District, Toni has led congregations to spiritual and structural growth, spearheading capital improvements and securing resources to benefit church communities. She also served as Director of Black Church Studies at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, where she mentored future faith leaders in addressing social justice and community development.
Her passion for empowerment and leadership development is evident in her decade-long commitment to leading #DailyPrayer at 6:45 AM EST, seven days a week, since 2013. She has also served on the Board of Directors for Interfaith Children’s Movement, Whitefoord Community Programs, and the Board of Examiners for the AME Church, demonstrating her ability to build coalitions and drive change across various sectors.
With a strong business acumen and executive leadership background, Toni holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Morris Brown College. She furthered her education with a Master of Divinity from Emory University, a Doctor of Ministry from Payne Theological Seminary (focusing on Adaptive Leadership in Intergenerational Ministry), and a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer School of Medicine. As a Master's Clinician at Accepted Family Therapy and a certified Life Coach, she brings a deep understanding of communication, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence—critical skills for governance and policymaking.
A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a 2014 inductee into the Morehouse College Martin Luther King, Jr. Board of Preachers, Toni embodies service, integrity, and transformative leadership.
Beyond her professional and civic achievements, Toni is a devoted wife, mother of three adult children, and grandmother to four grandchildren. Her family values, faith-driven leadership, and unwavering dedication to the people of District 11 make her the trusted voice and bold advocate needed for Atlanta’s future.
